It was cold, windy and occasionally wet on this afternoon's exercise along part of the North Down coastal path. The conditions meant that there were very few people about. Again, the iPhone was pressed into service:
The first was at a spot called the ladies bathing pool in Victorian times. It has become very popular for cold water swimming in the bay for both men and women although the majority appear to be women. In October there was an incident here when a woman swimmer got into difficulties and sadly did not survive despite the best efforts of the emergency services and members of the public.
